Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an EyeCare Advisor who delivers the LensCrafters Experience. You will assist customers, explain tests and services, and help coordinate between doctor and retail functions to ensure high-quality care.

Ideal candidates will have strong customer service, basic math, and familiarity with cash handling. This on-site role supports store operations and patient care in a fast-paced retail optical environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers quickly (within 30 seconds).
• Promptly answers the telephone (3 rings).
• Explains all required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information for accuracy and special needs.
• Keeps patient records organized and HIPAA-compliant.
• Applies proper payment handling following security procedures.
• Maintains store appearance and merchandising per guidelines.
• Supports optical staff with pre-exam testing and lens care guidance.
