Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking a part-time EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience. You will greet customers, explain tests and paperwork, and support the Optometrist and retail team with accurate records and payments.

Responsibilities include assisting patients with frames and lenses, handling prescriptions, and maintaining store standards while ensuring HIPAA compliance and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.

• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers quickly (within 30 seconds).
• Promptly answers the telephone (3 rings).
• Explains all required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information carefully; consults with Optician/Managing Doctor as needed.
• Maintains HIPAA-compliant patient records.
• Operates POS system and processes payments with accuracy.
• Manages contact lens orders and shipments.
• Maintains store visual displays per guidelines.
• Performs pre-examination testing with accuracy.
• Coaches patients on contact lens care and handling.
