Paycom - ATS is seeking an entry-level Veteran Service Assistant in Houston, TX, part-time. The role focuses on delivering basic residential services to veterans and supporting daily operations at the USVETS Houston site.

Responsibilities include coordinating with clinical staff, assisting with move-in/move-out, and maintaining safety and cleanliness. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required, with up to 25% travel and a day shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience with programs and homeless populations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering basic services (shelter, food, hygiene) to veterans.
• Maintain communication with clinical staff to ensure a therapeutic environment.
• Assist with move-in and move-out processes for clients.
• Submit incident reports when needed and manage safety concerns.
• Conduct safety rounds and monitor facility conditions daily.
• Maintain supplies inventory and storage readiness.
• Assist with facility upkeep and readiness for inspections.
• Support routine daily living activities for clients.
