Job summary

Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, CA, is seeking a part-time Parking Attendant to warmly welcome guests, assist with baggage, and manage traffic in the front drive area. This front-line role partners with Bell staff to ensure smooth arrival and departure experiences for guests.

You will greet guests, handle baggage, direct guests to the Front Desk, and coordinate with the valet team while maintaining a polished, professional appearance and safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Must be able to run for extended periods to move guest cars
• Must be 21+ years old
• Must have a flexible schedule and be willing to cover shifts; supervisory experience is encouraged

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests and welcome them to the hotel
• Tag the baggage with the proper claim checks and give the guest a claim ticket for the baggage
• Unload the baggage from the car or taxi and bring it inside to the Bellstand
• Direct guests to the Front Desk
• Call taxis for guests as needed
• Work with the Bell Captain on luggage storage and retrieval
• Load baggage in cars or taxis for departing guests and thank them for choosing our hotel
• Maintain a clean and orderly appearance of work areas at all times
• Control traffic flow in and out of the Motor Lobby and on the front drive
• Notify Front Desk and Guest Services of VIP arrivals whenever possible
• Schedule the Valet Team to the set labor model
• Coach and counsel valet team members to uphold work rules
