Job summary

Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, CA seeks a Part Time Vue Host to deliver exceptional guest service in our upscale dining venues. You will greet guests, manage reservations, seat guests with a friendly demeanor, and coordinate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays is required, and prior fine dining host experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on food and beverage knowledge and hospitality industry awareness.
• Minimum relevant host experience in fine dining preferred.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong customer service skills with friendly, engaging demeanor.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain service standards and ensure compliance with hotel standards.
• Answer phones, manage reservations, greet and seat guests.
• Keep the host stand organized and maintain cleanliness.
• Communicate menu concepts and specials clearly to guests.
