Job summary

NextCare Wichita is seeking a Part-Time clinician to join our urgent care team. You’ll cover four12-hour shifts per month, with clinic hours from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, seven days a week, and a focus on variety and autonomy. Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted KS license for NP or PA.
• Board certification or eligibility (NCCPA for PA; ANCC/AANP for FNP).
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain.
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain, with fees covered.
• EHR proficiency and adherence to clinical guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management (as applicable)
• Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
• Code and bill services appropriately
• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
• Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values
