Job summary

NextCare in Maricopa, AZ is seeking a Part-Time clinician to join our urgent care team. Flexible scheduling and autonomy are highlighted, with a 12-hour shift minimum and shifts available across the clinic's operating hours.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Arizona license for NP | PA.
• Board certification or eligibility, as applicable.
• PA: NCCPA certification.
• NP: ANCC or AANP certification (FNP required).
• Active DEA license (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to treat patients of all ages.
• Active BLS certification.
• EHR proficiency.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays.
• DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in urgent care.
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies including labs/imaging.
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound care.
• Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Document patient care accurately in the EHR.
• Code and bill services.
• Maintain productivity aligned with urgent care benchmarks.
• Practice in alignment with NextCare standards and values.
