Job summary

First Commonwealth FCU is seeking a Part Time Member Experience Associate in Emmaus, PA. You will deliver world-class member service, servicing basic transactions and guiding members toward financial solutions.

The role requires 1–2 years in retail or customer service, a willingness to obtain an NMLS license, and comfort using mobile and online banking tools. You will work 25–29 hours per week with a $1/hour premium for part-time associates.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years retail or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve members with basic transactional needs.
• Earn and maintain Financial Wellness counselor certification.
• Use our Member Engagement Model to identify needs and develop credit solutions.
• Follow up on loan applications and close loans.
• Stay current on FCFCU products and services.
• Use smartphones and tablets to demonstrate mobile and online banking.
• Maintain knowledge of lending fundamentals and loan documentation.
• Refer to Mortgage and Investment specialists.
• Troubleshoot and resolve member objections.

As a Part Time Member Experience Associate, you will be scheduled to work 25-29 hrs. per week. We provide a premium of $1 an hour in addition to the posted hourly rate to our part time associates.

Our financial center lobby hours are as follows:
Monday-Friday– 9:00am -5:00pm
Saturday - 9:00am – 1:00pm

Your responsibilities will include:

• Servicing member’s basic transactional needs
• Earning and maintaining Financial Wellness counselor certification in order to assist members in realizing their long-term financial goals
• Utilizing our Member Engagement Model to determine member needs and developing appropriate credit solutions
• Following up on loan applicants and ultimately closing loans.
• Keeping current on all FCFCU products and services
• Utilizing Smartphones and tablets in order to personally demonstrate alternative banking channels including mobile and online banking.
• Maintaining knowledge of fundamentals of lending, loan documentation and corresponding loan compliance (obtain NMLS license)
• Making appropriate referrals to Mortgage and Investment specialist
• Troubleshooting and problem solving while handling member objections
