First Commonwealth FCU is seeking a Part Time Universal Banker for Downtown Allentown, with Spanish bilingual requirements. The role focuses on delivering exceptional member service, handling basic transactions, and guiding members toward financial solutions using our engagement model.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years retail or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Servicing member’s basic transactional needs.
• Earning and maintaining Financial Wellness counselor certification to assist members in realizing long-term financial goals.
• Utilizing the Member Engagement Model to determine member needs and developing appropriate credit solutions.
• Following up on loan applicants and ultimately closing loans.
• Keeping current on FCFCU products and services.
• Utilizing smartphones and tablets to demonstrate alternative banking channels including mobile and online banking.
• Maintaining knowledge of fundamentals of lending, loan documentation and loan compliance (NMLS license).
• Making referrals to Mortgage and Investment specialists.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving while handling member objections.
