Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights is seeking a Unit Secretary for a part-time 25-hour-per-week schedule (1:00 PM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday) to support the care team and manage patient records. You will enter department treatments and charges, coordinate communications among care team, physicians, patients, and families, and help schedule department procedures in the hospital's scheduling system.

A high school diploma is required; prior data-entry experience and knowledge of medical

• Minimum one year data or order entry experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter department patient treatments/charges into the health record.
• Coordinate patient activities and services with the care team.

• Coordinate and schedule department procedures in the scheduling system.
