Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights is seeking a Unit Secretary for a part-time schedule (30 hrs/wk) with 3p to 11:30p shifts Monday through Friday, including weekend/holiday rotation. The role requires data entry into patient records, coordination with the care team, and scheduling department procedures.

A high school diploma or GED is required. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of data entry experience, computer literacy, and knowledge of medical terminology.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of data or order entry experience preferred.
• Computer literacy and experience with PC applications.
• Experience in a healthcare setting and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter department patient treatments/charges to support the health record.
• Coordinate care team communication with physicians, patients and families.
• Assist in scheduling department procedures in the hospital system.
• Support care team in coordinating patient activities and services.
