Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Unit Clerk to support clinic operations and patient care for individuals living with kidney disease. The role combines on-floor duties with administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations and responsive patient service.

You will greet patients, manage records, assist with billing and reporting, and help coordinate transportation and lab processes. A background in healthcare admin and proficiency with Office tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Six months of relevant experience in clinical/healthcare setting preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in administrative position preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, (including Word and Excel).
• Must be able to organize time and tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in all USRC applications required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and visitors to create a welcoming, professional atmosphere.
• Answering phones and assisting patients with questions and transportation arrangements.
• Updating and maintaining medical records and patient charts for treatments.
• Entering charges and preparing billing and patient attendance logs.
• Completing forms and reports required by governmental agencies.
• Ensuring supplies and inventory, reordering as needed and assisting with lab processing.
