Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Unit Clerk to support clinic operations and provide excellent customer care to patients with kidney disease.

You will greet patients, manage records, assist with billing, and help coordinate transportation as part of a cross-functional team. Responsibilities include maintaining medical records, preparing charts for treatments, auditing for compliance, and handling forms for governmental agencies.

Qualifications

• Six months of relevant experience in clinical/healthcare setting preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in administrative position preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Must be able to organize time and tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in all USRC applications required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and visitors, answering phones, and assisting with transportation as needed.
• Maintain and prepare patient records and charts for treatments; assist in auditing records for compliance.
• Enter charges, prepare billing and attendance logs; complete forms and reports for governmental agencies.
• Ensure adequate supplies and inventory and reordering; prepare lab slips and direct labs to the appropriate laboratory.
