Job summary

U.S. Renal Care, Inc. is seeking a part-time Unit Clerk to support floor operations and administrative tasks in our Indianapolis clinic.

The role blends front-desk patient care with backend recordkeeping to keep the clinic running smoothly. You will greet patients, manage calls, help with transportation, maintain medical records, process lab slips, handle billing logs, and ensure supplies are available. This position offers exposure to a collaborative healthcare team and opportunities to grow in

Qualifications

• Six months of relevant experience in clinical/healthcare setting preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in administrative position preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, (including Word and Excel).
• Must be able to organize time and tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in all USRC applications required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Customer care: greet patients and visitors, answer phones, assist with transportation.
• Maintain and organize medical records; prepare patient charts for treatments; audit records for compliance; enter charges and prepare billing and attendance logs.
• Process lab slips and direct labs to the appropriate laboratory.
• Enter charges and prepare billing and attendance logs.
• Prepare forms and reports for government agencies; ensure supplies and inventory; reorder as needed.
• Assist in laboratory workflows and lab processing.
