Job summary

US Renal Care is seeking a Unit Clerk to support clinic operations and deliver excellent patient care. You will greet patients, manage records, and assist with billing, lab processing, and administrative tasks to keep the clinic running smoothly.

The role requires basic Microsoft Office skills, organization, and the ability to work across a team in a healthcare environment. This is an in-person position in Modesto, CA with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Six months of relevant experience in clinical/healthcare setting preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in administrative position preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Must be able to organize time and tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in all USRC applications required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and visitors to create a welcoming, professional atmosphere.
• Update and maintain medical records; prepare patient records and charts for treatments.
• Assist in auditing records for compliance; enter charges and prepare billing and attendance logs.
• Process lab forms and direct samples to the appropriate laboratory; assist with forms and reports for government agencies.
• Ensure supplies and inventory; reorder as needed.
