Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Unit Clerk to support daily clinic operations and patient care for individuals with kidney disease. You will greet patients, manage communications, and assist with transportation as needed while maintaining professional, welcoming atmosphere.

You will also handle medical records, prepare treatment charts, support billing and attendance logs, and help ensure compliance across governmental forms and reporting. A high school diploma and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Six months of relevant experience in clinical/healthcare setting preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in administrative position preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, answer phones, answer patient questions, and assist with transportation arrangements.
• Update and maintain medical records; prepare patient records and charts for treatments; assist in auditing records for compliance.
• Prepare lab slips and tubes; direct labs to the appropriate laboratory; enter charges and prepare billing and attendance logs.
