Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Unit Clerk to support clinic operations and provide excellent customer care for patients with kidney disease. You will greet patients, manage records, assist with billing, and help coordinate labs and transportation as needed.

The role emphasizes accuracy in record-keeping, billing processes, and inventory management, with opportunities to support a cross-functional team in a patients-first environment.

Qualifications

• Six months of relevant experience in a clinical/healthcare setting preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in an administrative position preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Ability to organize time and tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in all USRC applications within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, answer phones, and assist with transportation as needed.
• Maintain and update medical records and prepare patient charts for treatments.
• Enter charges and assist with billing and attendance logs; complete required forms/reports.
• Ensure adequate supplies and inventory; reorder as needed; assist with lab slips and directing labs.
