Job summary

Allied Universal, the leading security and facility services company in North America, is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Courtesy Officer in Suffolk, VA. You will provide security, customer service, and access control while working a weekend night schedule at a technology-focused location.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notifications.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Complete required activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoffs accurately and in a timely manner.
