Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer for Suffolk, VA. You will provide visible security, deter incidents, and support access control while delivering excellent customer service to staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at the Suffolk location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly, escalating per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain logs and incident records.
• Communicate observations and incidents to site leadership professionally.
