Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• 18+ years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology and communications location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Support a professional environment through clear communication, attention to detail, and coordination with site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
