Job summary

Allied Universal in Arlington, VA is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer at a technology-focused site. You will provide customer service to employees and visitors, monitor access points, and respond to incidents to maintain a safe environment.

This position offers a night-shift schedule, a pay rate of $21.75 per hour, and access to our Claim a Shift platform for flexible opportunities and growth within a leading security services company.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to report incidents and observations clearly.
• Comfort with using computers or tablets for routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a corporate technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management processes in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Assist with maintaining a professional, welcoming presence while following Allied Universal and client site reporting protocols.
