Job summary

Allied Universal in Arlington, VA is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer to monitor and protect client sites, with a focus on exceptional customer service and vigilant presence.

You will perform patrols, control access, respond to incidents, and maintain clear documentation while supporting a technology-focused facility. This role offers a flexible part-time schedule and opportunities to grow within our nationwide security team.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: Alarm panel experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a corporate technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking facilities, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and report suspicious activity or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records accurately and promptly.
