Job summary

Allied Universal in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced. This flexible, dependable role offers reliable hours at a designated site with opportunities to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings.

You will provide customer service, conduct unarmed patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents following established procedures. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and background check; CPR preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Allied Universal will conduct background checks as required by law.
• A drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner and contact appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and patrol reports and communicate information to leadership.
