Qualifications

• Armed Guard Card or License required.
• Baton, Handcuffing, CPR, Pepper Spray certifications preferred.
• Must be 21+ and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members; carry out security-related procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify hazards or policy concerns and report findings.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally while following procedures and laws.
• Maintain a visible presence during school operations, arrivals/dismissals, events, and other activities to support an orderly environment.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations and follow-up information to appropriate personnel.
