Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Ashburn, VA. This role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts and earn more through the scheduling platform. Pay rate is $23.36 per hour, with a part-time schedule that can lead toward full-time hours up to 40 per week.

Responsibilities include access control, patrolling, and incident response. Ideal candidates have customer service experience, familiarity with security procedures, and certifications

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and employees at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking, access points and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access and verify visitor/contractor authorization; maintain documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies calmly and according to procedures.
• Communicate observations and security concerns to leadership and responders.
