Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Driver) in Reston, VA. You will provide security coverage, monitor entry points, conduct patrols, and ensure safety while working a daytime and evening schedule.

This role emphasizes customer service, professional communication, and teamwork at an aerospace/defense location. The position requires a minimum of 1 year security experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
