Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Operations in Fairfax, VA. The role involves patrolling facilities, controlling access, and delivering customer service with a visible security presence.

You will drive at a utilities location, follow safety procedures, and maintain logs. A valid driver’s license and eligibility for required background checks are essential, with CPR/First Aid and badge experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required by policy.
• Experience using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as required by law.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and utility customers while enforcing site security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to deter incidents.
• Monitor access, verify credentials, and document activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following established procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and shift logs on patrols and incidents.
