Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Reston, VA. You will patrol, monitor access, verify badges, and assist employees and visitors while maintaining a professional presence in a tech-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Experience with access control/badges preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background checks and drug screening as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and access protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, maintain logs and reports of incidents and observations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders.
• Support protection of sensitive operations by reporting policy violations and facility concerns to leadership.
