Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider, seeks a part-time Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Incident Awareness in Atlanta, GA. The role involves patrolling government sites, customer service, and responding to incidents while maintaining a visible security presence.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of security experience and a valid driver's license; CPR/First Aid is a plus. Pay is $17.50/hour with a dynamic day schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by following site procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document activities per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and direct guests to government offices or services.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents and patrol observations and communicate information to site leadership.
