Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in Atlanta, GA. You will provide customer service, perform regular patrols, and respond to incidents to deter security risks and safeguard people and property.

The role emphasizes a visible security presence, incident reporting, and collaboration with site leadership. Flexible night and day shifts are available; workers are expected to comply with site policies and background checks.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology and telecommunications location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, helping to maintain an orderly environment for personnel and guests.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
