Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Armed Patrol) in Atlanta, GA to safeguard government facilities, conduct patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with professionalism. The position requires armed-security experience, a valid guard card or license if available, and the ability to lift 20+ pounds.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Participate in security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and the public at government facilities by following security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking facilities, and perimeter locations; report unusual activity or hazards.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and per protocols, coordinating with relevant personnel and agencies.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials to maintain orderly entry and exit at government locations.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain documentation regarding patrols, incidents, and security activities.
