Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by following site procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response actions at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document activities per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and direct guests to government offices or services.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents and patrol observations and communicate with site leadership.
