Job summary

Global Experience Specialists, Inc. in Nashville, TN, is seeking a CDL driver to handle delivery and pickup of equipment and materials for shows. The role includes loading/unloading, assisting in various departments, and coordinating show freight, with travel and overnight stays as needed.

You must hold a valid Class A CDL, have at least 3 years of driving experience, and maintain a clean driving record. Weekend and night work may be required in a fast-paced tradeshow environment.

• Valid Class A CDL driver's license.
• Maintain good driving record.
• 3 Years driving experience.
• Tradeshow industry experience.

This position is Nashville based and will report to the warehouse located in Nashville, TN 37210.

Responsibilities:

• Drives (class A CDL rated) trucks in the delivery and pick-up of equipment and materials for assigned shows.
• Assists in the loading and unloading of showsite equipment and materials.
• Assists in the Carpet and/or Furniture Departments, as needed.
• Assists in the GEM Department, as needed.
• Assists in the receiving and delivery of show freight, as needed.
• Relies on personal knowledge and experience in operation of trucks and in the completing of job functions.
• Must be available for travel and overnight stays as required.
• Must be available to work weekends and extended hours if necessary.

Work Environment:

• Will be required to perform work on the tradeshow floor, in noisy and crowded areas as well as office setting
• Requires working both alone and with others in a team atmosphere
• Requires working with union and non-union employees
• Must be able to work nights and weekends.
• Must be able to work autonomously with minimal direct supervision.
