Job summary

GES - Global Experience Specialists in Nashville, TN is seeking a CDL-A truck driver to support our tradeshow operations. The role is Nashville based and reports to the warehouse in Nashville, TN 37210, handling delivery and pickup of show equipment and materials. The ideal candidate has a valid Class A CDL, at least 3 years of driving experience, and is willing to travel, work nights and weekends, and operate in a dynamic tradeshow environment. • High School Graduate or GED preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL driver's license.
• Maintain good driving record.
• 3 Years driving experience.
• Tradeshow industry experience.

• Assist in Carpet/Furniture/GEM departments as needed.
• Assist in receiving and delivering show freight as needed.
• Must be available for travel and overnight stays as required.
• Must be available to work weekends and extended hours if necessary.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Drives (class A CDL rated) trucks in the delivery and pick-up of equipment and materials for assigned shows.
• Assists in the loading and unloading of showsite equipment and materials.
• Assists in the Carpet and/or Furniture Departments, as needed.
• Assists in the GEM Department, as needed.
• Assists in the receiving and delivery of show freight, as needed.
• Relies on personal knowledge and experience in operation of trucks and in the completing of job functions.
• Must be available for travel and overnight stays as required.
• Must be available to work weekends and extended hours if necessary.

Work Environment

• Will be required to perform work on the tradeshow floor, in noisy and crowded areas as well as office setting
• Requires working both alone and with others in a team atmosphere
• Requires working with union and non-union employees
• Must be able to work nights and weekends.
• Must be able to work autonomously with minimal direct supervision.
