Job summary

Global Experience Specialists, Inc is seeking a Nashville-based CDL-A driver to deliver and pick up equipment and materials for shows. The role reports to the Nashville warehouse and requires occasional travel and overnight stays.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, assisting in multiple departments, and working weekends as needed. A clean driving record and 3 years of driving experience are required; Tradeshow industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid Class A CDL license and clean driving record.
• Requires 3 years of driving experience.
• Tradeshow industry experience preferred, ability to work on tradeshow floor.

Responsibilities

• Drive (Class A CDL rated) trucks for delivery and pickup of equipment and materials for shows.
• Assist in loading/unloading show equipment and materials.
• Assist in Carpet/Furniture and GEM departments as needed.
• Assist in receiving and delivery of show freight.
• Work nights, weekends, and travel as required.

Job description

This position is Nashville based and will report to the warehouse located in Nashville, TN 37210.

Responsibilities:

• Drives (class A CDL rated) trucks in the delivery and pick-up of equipment and materials for assigned shows.
• Assists in the loading and unloading of showsite equipment and materials.
• Assists in the Carpet and/or Furniture Departments, as needed.
• Assists in the GEM Department, as needed.
• Assists in the receiving and delivery of show freight, as needed.
• Relies on personal knowledge and experience in operation of trucks and in the completing of job functions.
• Must be available for travel and overnight stays as required.
• Must be available to work weekends and extended hours if necessary.

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or GED preferred
• Valid Class A CDL driver's license
• Maintain good driving record
• 3 Years driving experience
• Tradeshow industry experience
• Will be required to perform work on the tradeshow floor, in noisy and crowded areas as well as office setting
• Requires working both alone and with others in a team atmosphere
• Requires working with union and non-union employees
• Must be able to work nights and weekends.
• Must be able to work autonomously with minimal direct supervision.
