Job summary

Global Experience Specialists, Inc. seeks a dependable CDL driver based in Nashville to deliver and pickup show equipment and materials, with responsibilities spanning loading/unloading and support across multiple departments. Candidates must hold a valid Class A CDL and maintain a good driving record.

Expect travel, overnight stays, and weekend/extended hours as part of this role. Our team works on tradeshow floors and in busy environments while coordinating with various departments to ensure

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL driver's license including clean driving record.
• 3 years of driving experience.
• Tradeshow industry experience.

• Drives trucks (Class A CDL) for delivery and pickup of equipment and materials for assigned shows.
• Assists in loading and unloading show-site equipment and materials.
• Assists in Carpet and Furniture Departments, as needed.
• Assists in the GEM Department, as needed.
• Assists in receiving and delivery of show freight, as needed.
• Travel and overnight stays may be required; may work weekends and extended hours.

Job description

This position is Nashville based and will report to the warehouse located in Nashville, TN 37210.

Responsibilities:

• Drives (class A CDL rated) trucks in the delivery and pick-up of equipment and materials for assigned shows.
• Assists in the loading and unloading of showsite equipment and materials.
• Assists in the Carpet and/or Furniture Departments, as needed.
• Assists in the GEM Department, as needed.
• Assists in the receiving and delivery of show freight, as needed.
• Relies on personal knowledge and experience in operation of trucks and in the completing of job functions.
• Must be available for travel and overnight stays as required.
• Must be available to work weekends and extended hours if necessary.

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or GED preferred
• Valid Class A CDL driver's license
• Maintain good driving record
• 3 Years driving experience
• Tradeshow industry experience

Work Environment:

• Will be required to perform work on the tradeshow floor, in noisy and crowded areas as well as office setting
• Requires working both alone and with others in a team atmosphere
• Requires working with union and non-union employees
• Must be able to work nights and weekends.
• Must be able to work autonomously with minimal direct supervision.
