Job summary

Henry County Schools is seeking a part-time Transcript Data Entry Clerk to accurately process and enter high school transcripts into the SIS. This role ensures transfer credits, grades, and course histories align with graduation requirements while maintaining FERPA confidentiality.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of related experience, strong typing, and familiarity with PowerSchool or Infinite Campus. The position is non-benefited and paid at $20/hour, reporting to the Director of Counseling

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college coursework or an associate's degree is a plus.
• 1–3 years of general office, data entry, or school secretarial experience, preferably involving student records.
• Proficiency with SIS systems such as PowerSchool or Infinite Campus.
• Exceptional typing speed and numeric data-entry accuracy; strong organizational habits.

Responsibilities

• Transcript Entry: Accurately input course titles, grades, semester credits, and test scores from incoming transcripts.
• Credit Evaluation: Compare coursework against district and state graduation standards with counselor guidance.
• Record Maintenance: Update and maintain digital and physical student records and logs.
• Discrepancy Reporting: Flag missing grades, unverified credits, or course conflicts and report to registrar or counselors.
• Transcript Requests: Process outgoing requests for graduates and alumni via digital platforms or mail.
• Privacy Compliance: Maintain confidentiality under FERPA guidelines.
