B&B Theatres in Ankeny, IA is seeking a part-time Theatre Manager to help organize and implement theatre operations. You will supervise staff, coordinate schedules, and ensure guest satisfaction while upholding our values of family, fun, and integrity.

The role requires readiness to obtain required certifications, a valid driver’s license, and availability for opening/closing shifts. Prior management experience is essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old at time of hire.
• Must be willing to obtain R-Serving certification (21+), Food Handler, and/or Food Manager certifications per state requirements. Certifications paid by company.
• Must have valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance for running errands.
• Must be available to open and/or close regularly.
• Previous experience in a similar management role is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Theatre General Manager and salary management staff in organizing, planning, and implementing strategy.
• Coordinate operations and ensure schedules and objectives are met.
• Supervise and motivate staff.
• Interpersonal and mediation skills.
• Communicate with guests and evaluate their needs and specifications.
• Assist in hiring, training, and maintaining employee records.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and guidelines.
• Perform cleaning duties as needed.
• Possibly sell tickets and assist at snack bar or auditorium between shows.
• Complete any other duties as delegated by supervisor.
