Job summary

Cinemark Assistant Manager roles support the theatre's daily operations and ensure adherence to policies and standards. They are cross trained to assist in all departments and mentor staff through the Management Accreditation Program.

Success leads to Senior Assistant Manager and eventually Theatre Manager or General Manager after 6 months of service and program completion; flexible schedules and a dynamic, guest-focused environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or GED preferred.
• Completes Cinemark Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Food handling training and local/state certifications as required.
• Alcohol service training if handling alcohol.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Excellent guest service and cash handling skills.
• Effective verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Follow the direction of the General Manager.
• Support GM decisions and communicate with staff.
• Work across all departments and theatre job functions.
• Train and coach team members in their functions.
• Prepare administrative and special reports for the GM.
• Inspect theatre facilities and report repairs as needed.
• Ensure dress code compliance and superior customer service.
• Enforce Cinemark guidelines with fairness and consistency.
• Address safety, security, and high-contact sanitation issues.
• Lead and train others; resolve conflicts as needed.
