Job summary

Rappahannock Community College (RCC) seeks a part-time Testing Center Technician at the Glenns campus to assist with testing administration and proctoring across campus locations.

Reporting to the Testing Center Manager, the role includes monitoring for testing irregularities, handling test materials, and supporting distance-learning students and faculty; flexibility includes two Saturday mornings per month.

Qualifications

• Experience using a variety of computer applications and demonstrated ability to assist students with testing applications.
• Ability to learn new technologies.
• Ability to work with a diverse population of clientele.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the administration and proctoring of tests.
• Monitor testing procedures and policies and address irregularities.
• Troubleshoot basic testing technology issues as needed.
• Open/close testing center and support communication between distance learners and faculty.
