Job summary

Rappahannock Community College (RCC) seeks a part-time Testing Center Technician for the Warsaw campus to assist with testing administration and proctoring. The role supports testing policies, handles test administration, and helps troubleshoot during testing sessions.

The position requires confidentiality and flexibility, including Saturdays as needed. Reporting to the Testing Center Manager, you will assist across campus sites, support distance-learning students, and help improve testing

Qualifications

• Experience using a variety of computer applications and demonstrated ability to assist students with the use of applications for testing purposes.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies.
• Ability to work with a diverse population of clientele.
• Experience providing customer service and excellent customer service skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Organization skills and detail orientation.
• Demonstrated ability to perform duties accurately and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration and proctoring of testing processes.
• Proctoring includes issuing, administering and controlling tests and ensuring procedures are followed.
• Troubleshooting routine technical issues as needed.
• Provide information and support to facilitate communication between distance learning students and faculty.
