Rappahannock Community College (RCC) is seeking a part-time Testing Center Technician for the Glenns campus. The role supports testing operations, assists distance learning students, and ensures policy compliance.
Expect a flexible schedule that includes two Saturday mornings per month, with the chance to learn new testing technologies and aid a diverse student body. The position pays $18.00 to $21.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, and reports to the Testing Center Manager.

RCC seeks applicants for our Testing Center Technician position at our Glenns campus. This is a part-time staff position, without benefits. The hourly pay rate will be $18.00/hr - $21.00/hr., commensurate with experience.
Reporting to and working with the Testing Center Manager, this position will assist with the administration and proctoring of testing processes within the college community. Proctoring includes issuing, administering and controlling tests, and ensuring all testing procedures and policies are followed. This includes monitoring for cheating or other testing irregularities and taking appropriate action as necessary. At times, troubleshooting technological issues will be required. Confidentiality is expected in all matters associated with student testing. As appropriate, the incumbent will be required to open and close the testing center, monitor and utilize the testing email account, and suggest process improvements.
The Testing Center Technician will assist as needed at all campus locations and sites. When the incumbent is not assisting students who are testing, they will provide information and support to facilitate communication between distance learning students and faculty. This position will complete other duties as assigned, and will be required to work a flexible schedule, including two Saturday mornings per month.
