Job summary

Pearson VUE is hiring a part-time Test Administrator for our Pasadena, CA location. The role covers secure exam delivery, customer service, and candidate support in a quiet testing environment.

Starting pay is $19.57 per hour with accrued paid sick time. Schedule typically 5-15 hours weekly, with potential for additional hours as needed. On-site workplace at 70 South Lake Ave, Pasadena.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year customer service experience preferred.
• Experience proctoring or invigilating exams preferred.
• Must be flexible in work hours and days.
• Beginner to intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Must be able to sit for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide secure exam delivery and superior customer service in a calm environment.
• Check in candidates, verify identification, and explain the exam process.
• Proctor/invigilate candidates during testing.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with internal departments.
• Complete light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming and sanitizing keyboards.
• Other duties as assigned.
