Job summary

First Interstate Bank in Polson, MT is seeking a part-time Teller to handle daily teller transactions in both lobby and drive-up locations, while delivering outstanding client service and building relationships.

You will process deposits, loan payments, and other transactions, answer questions, and identify referral opportunities for additional products. Regular attendance is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a cash handling role preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, loan payments, cash checks, and other teller transactions with accuracy.
• Assist customers in person and by phone, answering questions.
• Identify cross-sell and referral opportunities for customers.
• Record activities and referrals using internal systems.
• Complete special requests like closing accounts or exchanging currency.
