Job summary

First Interstate is seeking a Teller at our Eureka, MT branch to handle daily teller transactions in both lobby and drive-up locations while delivering outstanding client service. The role focuses on building and maintaining client relationships and recognizing referral opportunities for additional products.

The position requires accuracy, confidentiality, and strong math and communication skills to support bank operations and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits and loan payments, cash checks, process withdrawals and close transactions.
• Answer clients’ questions in person and by phone.
• Record transactions and referrals to partners and other lines of business.
• Identify basic cross-sell opportunities and direct clients to bankers when appropriate.
• Utilize client-facing systems to record activities and referrals.
• Complete account-related requests and special statements as needed.
