Job summary

UFCU Main in Austin, TX is seeking a Part-Time Teller I to deliver exceptional member service by processing transactions and building relationships through banking products that benefit Members. The role emphasizes accuracy, sales awareness, accountability, and teamwork within a people-first culture.

The position requires working 5 hours, 4 days per week from 12 pm - 5 pm or 1 pm - 6 pm, and every Saturday 9:30 am - 2:30 pm, with a full weekday off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Six months Teller or cash handling experience.
• Six months customer service experience.
• English/Spanish bilingual preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance may substitute for experience.
• Experience working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet members.
• Maintain branch appearance.
• Explain basic products and services.
• Identify product needs.
• Answer member questions.
• Resolve member issues.
• Conduct system navigation on various computer systems.
• Process address, phone number, and email changes.
• Process check re-orders.
• Establish direct deposit.
• Assist with online and mobile banking.
