Job summary

UFCU is seeking a Full Time Teller in Austin, TX to serve as the primary contact for member transactions and requests, building relationships and delivering exceptional service. You will identify member needs, explain basic products, and resolve issues while maintaining branch operations and compliance with regulations.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and excellent communication. Hours are traditional business days with weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months Teller or cash handling experience.
• Minimum 6 months customer service experience.
• Bachelor's Degree may substitute for experience.
• Minimum 6 months working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and process transactions accurately.
• Maintain branch appearance and assist with product/service explanations.
• Identify member needs and resolve issues.
• Conduct system navigation and update member information.
• Adhere to policies, procedures and regulatory training.
• Process checks, deposits, and other routine transactions.
