Job summary

Santander Consumer USA Inc. is seeking a Teller to assist customers with broad banking needs, process transactions, and maintain accurate cash drawers. You will deliver outstanding service, promote digital tools, and escalate risk as needed. Flexibility to work branch hours including weekends and evenings is required.

Responsibilities also include adhering to policies, supporting audits, and contributing to a welcoming branch environment while helping customers access self-service options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months cash handling experience.
• 6+ months customer service experience.
• Excellent customer service and helping others.
• Identify and escalate risk concerns.
• Follow directions, policies and procedures.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Comfort with digital tools to engage customers.
• Energetic, organized and able to multitask.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Computer proficiency and basic math.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the teller window.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
• Handle cash and maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Adhere to bank policies and risk management protocols.
• Recognize opportunities and cross-sell bank products.
• Engage customers and educate them on self-service options.
• Assist with custodianship, audits, and other tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Responsibilities may extend to nearby branches as needed.
