Job summary

Bechtel Renewables & Clean Power is seeking a qualified candidate to join our Reston, VA team with initial field mobilization. You will oversee development and preparation of purchase orders, ensuring compliance with Bechtel procedures to support multi-discipline construction projects.

In this role you will negotiate terms with suppliers, manage bidder lists, and coordinate with home office and field teams to deliver project commitments on time and within contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or international equivalent.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years total.
• Experience in purchasing, agreement drafting, and negotiations.
• Knowledge of project purchasing and PO administration.
• Understanding of multi-discipline construction contracting and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review prime contract requirements and develop project master purchase pro-forma forms with terms.
• Prepare, maintain, and monitor project bidder lists with input from procurement and operations.
• Review international project commercial conditions to ensure alignment with Bechtel directives.
• Form, issue, and administer purchase orders.
• Direct negotiations after supervisor approves the proposed plan.
