Job summary

Visionworks onsite telehealth team is looking for a personable Onsite Telehealth Specialist (TS) / Optometric Assistant (Telehealth) to guide patients through remote eye exams and in-store visits with care and confidence.

You will support telemedicine processes, maintain patient records, and help educate patients, while coordinating with doctors and sales to meet eyewear needs in a human, bold way.

Qualifications

• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience

Responsibilities

• Personally assist remote eye exam processes and act as liaison between patients and Telemedicine Remote Physicians
• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducing preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and provide associates necessary information to educate and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to meet additional patient needs.
